Production Progress Update

Dear Sorcerers,
We have just received the first sample from the factory this month after more than half-year of communication back and forth.
We have received some worried emails about how we did not update at all. We owe you another sincere apology. The fact is that we have nothing to update you before receiving the sample and do not want to make excuses that may sound like we are stalling. The production progress is way harder than we expected. Design was adjusted many times due to the material the factory used and the technical problem they could not conquer. The other problem is that we are no longer a team. There is only one, sometimes two, people behind the project at the moment. We are struggling between work but have no doubt in fulfilling all the pledges. One of you asked if we are with bad intentions. No, we are not.
The sample we received is mostly in line with expectations. You may have a look at the photos below:
the colour is good and all components fit in the box. However, you may also notice that the plateau cannot be properly composed. We had sent the factory a new design to solve the problem. Another problem is that the production line has not yet sent us a completely-made dice tower sample but a single plate wood model. We had stressed on that issue too.
Meanwhile, we have reached a shipping agency, SPACESHIP, a professional local company and are planning the shipping schedule with them at the moment, in order to ship the game to you ASAP when the production quality is to our satisfaction.
We will update you again when we receive the updated sample from the production line.

Dear Sorcerers,
I know that it has caused so much worry among backers since it has been months since the last update. We were at a big delay on the production as the original factory and shipping company we quoted before the campaign had once refused to continue serving us due to the rather small production quantity.
What is more, we have to admit that there were some serious problems among ourselves. We must apologize to all of you without excuses. We had received some kind emails asking about the progress and we are very grateful that all of you accept our apology. We will definitely finish the fulfilment and send you a game that we promised.

Revised Rulebook & punch board revealed!

I want to apologize for the delay in my update. I've been swamped with miscellaneous work but your support and encouragement have kept me going. I'm thrilled to announce that I have the punch board and rulebook ready for you to review.

At the moment, I only have the English version. I'm still working on the other versions and will keep you updated on their progress.
Regarding the laser-cut parts, the instruction rule is still a work in progress.
The production process will begin soon. I should be receiving the white sample soon! Once again, thank you for your continuous support. I promise to do everything in my power to deliver the Mushroom Sorcerer to you as soon as possible.

Hi backers of Mushroom Sorcerer!
We understand that some of you may feel that the shipping cost is too high. We have then post-phoned the credit card charging date to 23rd February 2023 so backers who disagree with the shipping cost can file a refund by filling this form: https://forms.gle/4FgWysHqkju8KQpEA
Please note that we could only do about 90% refund as KS and Stripe have already charged us about 10% processing fee. As we will refund via Paypal, the transaction fee will be charged on your side too. The reason we use Paypal is that the amount your pledged has been collected by Kickstarter already therefore we cannot refund to you on Pledge Manager.
This refund form will be closed on 22nd February 2023 HKT23:59. We will not accept refund request after that. Thank you for backing Mushroom Sorcerer.
